When far right grifter Milo Yiannopoulos was deported by the US earlier this month, forcing him back to Britain, GB News sources were insistent he would not end up on their station.
“We wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole, not in a million years,” a source told the Guardian. “GBN had a few odd people to start with and we’ve got rid of them.”
One of those “odd people” which the channel discarded was Calvin Robinson, a former video games journalist turned cleric who, like a journeyman footballer, is on his sixth denomination and is currently turning out for the obscure English Catholic Church of North America.
Robinson has previously been accused of anti-Semitism, one of his (many) former churches last year accusing him of “rhetoric that was clearly and intentionally anti-Semitic” following a series of social media posts he dismissed as merely “asking questions” and being “anti-Zionist, not anti-Semitic”.

But now that mask appears to have slipped entirely. In a series of incendiary posts on, inevitably, X over the past week, Robinson – most recently seen podcasting and palling around with far right bore Laurence Fox – has been writing about “the Jews” in a way virtually indistinguishable from Nazi propaganda.
It started with a post on September 18 in which Robinson wrote “It is the Jews. It has always been the Jews. Not all of them, but always them”, before citing a list of presumably undesirable ideologies such as “Marxism/Communism/Socialism, Bolshevism, Feminism, Liberalism/Libertarianism, Anarchism, Psychoanalysis, Critical Theories, Neoconservatism, Zionism.”
The passionate Christian then declared that “there is no wonder our Lord did not mince his words when describing them”, citing Biblical verses in which Jews are variously described (without any context in Robinson’s post) as a “Brood of vipers” and “Of your father the devil” and quoting St Paul as saying: “They displease God and are hostile to everyone in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved”.
He went on to muse: “Add transvestism/transexualism/transgenderism and the modern concept of racism to the list, the latter of course led to the weaponisation of antisemitism.” “Add pornography, harmful Covid jabs and these recent AI woes,” he added.

The musings of an online oddball might not seem largely relevant – even if Robinson was considered an acceptable mainstream pundit by GB News as recently as less than three years ago.
But Robinson this summer quit his role as “lead spokesman” for the tiny rump party which is UKIP to join Rupert Lowe’s Restore Britain – which has willingly accepted him. He posted his acceptance email on X and wrote how “the Restore community has been lovely and welcoming”.
“Britain for the British is not racist; it is common sense,” he wrote. “And it is the reason Reform are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the Conservatives.”
Just last month, Restore refused to sack a co-founder accused of anti-Semitism, standing behind Charlie Downes, who appeared to suggest Nigel Farage had been “bought” by Jewish supporters. Is Lowe’s party now the home of British Jew hate?
