Roger Stone, the US political consultant best known for his work advising Donald Trump before finding himself in prison on a string of charges relating to Russian electoral interference, has an unlikely second act – running a fashion website.
The 73-year-old has launched Roger Stone on Style, in which the disgraced politico offers his thoughts on such attire as pocket squares (“the last great mark of a gentleman”), braces (“the sophisticated gentleman’s secret weapon”) and the waistcoat (“the gentleman’s armour of masculine civilisation”).

He promoted it on, inevitably, X with a photograph of himself wearing a white short-sleeved polo shirt tucked into tan jodhpurs, a brown leather belt, high black leather riding boots and black leather gauntlet-style gloves. In his right hand he is holding an unlit cigar.
The image inevitably led to much online mockery (“You look like one of Hitler’s stormtroopers on his weekend break,” wrote one X follower). Others, though, were more focused on the rather unfortunate URL for Stone’s new website – stoneswank.com. Pull the other one, Roger!
