Since it was revealed that GB News’ youthful extremist Tom Harwood is being shipped off to replace Bev Turner in the channel’s Washington DC office, viewers have been biting their nails about which fresh-faced young man could possibly fill his shoes.
Well, fear not. The mastermind producers have come up with the perfect new face to appeal to a younger generation: former Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard.

Castrate all male asylum seekers, says GB News guest
Pritchard, who left Strictly in 2019 and has done literally nothing of note since, has managed to surprise even those who thought he could sink no lower in pursuit of relevance. His dreadful cameo on Hollyoaks alongside Love Island “star” brother Curtis became an instant meme, with their performance making a GCSE drama class look Olivier-worthy.
But apparently that wasn’t enough. Now he’s on GB News, presumably having exhausted every other avenue of money or attention, besides starting an OnlyFans.
Pritchard’s first show centred on petty crime and how it has supposedly become normalised in Britain. It has already received some glowing reviews, including: “If you didn’t think anything AJ Pritchard did could be worse than his acting, allow me to introduce you to his segment on GB News”, and “AJ Pritchard has taken his career in a bold new direction with two goosesteps to the far-Right.”

A promising start, then.
As he stumbled over his autocue and plugged Robert Jenrick’s recent confrontation with a shoplifter, Pritchard may have wondered how it all got to this point. It was only seven years ago, after all, that he appeared as a guest on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Dancers are known for their pivots, but this seems extreme.
