The Reform Lady who’s an Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Truther

Lady Victoria Hervey, a regular at Reform events, believes the Epstein scandal is an elaborate hoax engineered the bring down the former prince

Nigel Farage, Richard Tice and pals are usually the first in front of a camera to froth about any establishment ill-doing, but have been curiously silent about Peter Mandelson, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the Jeffrey Epstein files. Why so?

One reason is that a new bestie of the Reform boys is Lady Victoria Hervey, model, socialite, former ‘It girl’ and woman with some odd views. Hervey has been seen in the audience recently at both Reform’s unveiling of their candidate for London mayor, Laila Cunningham, and at the launch of Veterans for Reform where Suella Braverman was unveiled as the party’s latest Tory defector. She’s also been pictured in the past with Farage at Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump’s club in Florida.

Reform might not want to fully align itself with Hervey’s views, though. The socialite, the daughter of the 6th Marquess of Bristol, is an Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Truther, who believes the whole thing is an elaborate hoax engineered by his Virginia Giuffre, who faked a photo to bring down and disgrace the former prince and extort a fortune from the royal family.

“I feel like it’s a massive injustice,” she told the Times last year. “In the beginning, I really didn’t want to get that involved in this story, and then Virginia Giuffre started talking and people were actually believing her. They fell for all her stuff, even though she committed perjury in court probably 20 times. It’s all documented. I could send you a file of 100 pages of research that proves this.”

She also claimed a lot of Epstein’s victims were not to be trusted. “A lot of them, most of them, I’ve found out, just jumped on the bandwagon to get money,” she said last year.

She also told the paper she was considering a move into politics – and ideally for Reform, she’s a Brit who really doesn’t seem to like Britain very much.

“Nigel Farage is the only guy who can stop those boats and make Britain great again,” she said. “Because what’s going on right now in the UK is not very pretty. I mean, I left 20 years ago, I just moved back recently and I don’t even feel like I live in England. There’s just not a lot of English people in London any more.”

Sounds perfect for the Reform benches – were it not for the slightly awkward defending of convicted paedophiles and their accomplices.
